TEPA Sponsors Saint Lucia Jazz Sampler
As a fringe event to Saint Lucia’s Jazz Festival the Jazz Sampler seeks to integrate developmental aspects of the music industry into its programme. TEPA was impressed with the training offered and mentorship initiative, whereby up and coming musicians were paired with established musicians who shared their ideas and techniques on how to master the craft/art.
The main event, concert, held on April 9, saw the young musicians sharing a stage with their mentors, renowned musicians. This event was very well attended and the reception was even better.
Given the direction that TEPA has taken in its own endeavours to develop the music industry making it more viable and sustainable, we found it appropriate to Sponsor the Jazz Sampler as we saw their effort as an extension of ours.
