TEPA Hosts ProNET Training Programme

The Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) in collaboration with Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) rolled out Module 6: Information & Knowledge Management of the PRONET Training Programme on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at the conference room of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, in Union, Castries.

PRONET-Training

The main objective of the module was to address the issues of the stages in knowledge and information management, and to provide a checklist and aid for implementing the different stages.

The module provided participants with the following:

  •  An understanding of the importance of systematically managing information processes within their businesses/organization
  • The capability to conduct an audit of the information requirements of their businesses/organization
  • The capability to implement an information and knowledge management system in their business/organization

Master Trainer, Dr. Valda Henry from Dominica took participants through the stages in Knowledge and Information Management, the challenges/obstacles at each stage and ways to overcome them.

Over twenty participants representing the private, public sector and Business Support Organization (BSO) attended the training. TEPA hopes to offer Module 5: Product Development in March of 2015.
