TEPA Hosts ProNET Training Programme
The Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) in collaboration with Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) rolled out Module 6: Information & Knowledge Management of the PRONET Training Programme on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at the conference room of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, in Union, Castries.
The main objective of the module was to address the issues of the stages in knowledge and information management, and to provide a checklist and aid for implementing the different stages.
The module provided participants with the following:
- An understanding of the importance of systematically managing information processes within their businesses/organization
- The capability to conduct an audit of the information requirements of their businesses/organization
- The capability to implement an information and knowledge management system in their business/organization
Master Trainer, Dr. Valda Henry from Dominica took participants through the stages in Knowledge and Information Management, the challenges/obstacles at each stage and ways to overcome them.
Over twenty participants representing the private, public sector and Business Support Organization (BSO) attended the training. TEPA hopes to offer Module 5: Product Development in March of 2015.
