WEBINAR PANELISTS

Alison S. Gajadhar, Ph.D. GDL CDir

To most, Dr. Gajadhar is considered one of the pioneers in the promotion of standards and quality within local industry. However, she considers her most major accomplishment as having first-hand experience in conceptualizing, establishing and operating a solar water heating business, Ecosun Inc., based on the then novel technology of evacuated heating tubes, and a beverage manufacturing plant, Sunsmart Beverages Ltd., which designed to produce fruit juices with local fruit pulp, and was later bought over by a leading regional company.

Using her fusion of practical experience in business operations and her understanding of regulatory processes, corporate governance, quality management systems, standardization and organizational culture, coupled with her drive and passion for dealing with people, Dr. Gajadhar now owns and operates KMA Consulting Ltd., which provides management consultancy services to public and private entities to assist them in achieving sustainable business performance, through a comprehensive systematic approach based on Quality Management. With over two decades of experience holding senior executive and governance positions within both the public (regional and local) and private sectors, Dr. Gajadhar, a former Independent Senator in the Parliament of Saint Lucia, holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a post-graduate Diploma in Law.
