This module was preceded by Business Strategy and Cost and Financial Management modules in September and October respectively. The general make-up of the attendees was a good mix of exporters of goods and services.

The first module, Business Strategy was very well attended. The facilitator was articulate, kept the course interactive and gave many real world examples, which were well received by the attendees. This first module certainly set the tone for the other two as they were both over-subscribed, with the last one having the largest number of attendees. Participants have already begun enquiring about which courses will be offered in 2015.

ProNET is a structured training programme offered in nine modules aimed at building capacity in exporters and enterprises. It targets owners and managers of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) who want to grow their businesses and become more competitive in today’s demanding market space. This initiative seeks to raise the level of productivity and profitability within SMEs, through the Experiential Learning Methodology (i.e. case study based and driven by practical examples and assignments), a welcomed change from the sometimes sterile tutoring style which is the norm.
