EXCELP

The Exporter Capacity Enhancement Learning Program (EXCELP) is a training program developed by Export Saint Lucia and the International Trade Center. EXCELP intends to provide owners or managers of MSMEs with the knowledge they need to facilitate the export process. Through EXCELP, Export Saint Lucia wants to teach clients how to identify opportunities, build linkages and increase their exports.

WHO IS EXCELP FOR?

Owners and managers of small businesses who have little to no experience in exporting are encouraged to register for EXCELP. Through EXCELP, these entrepreneurs will gain the foundational knowledge needed to increase their export potential, and actual exports. Manufacturers, producers, and service providers are all encouraged to register.

HOW IS EXCELP DELIVERED?

The first two sessions of EXCELP were piloted virtually and targeted members of Helen’s Daughters as many of these women own businesses with the potential to export. Export Saint Lucia has returned to the face-to-face modality and will host the third EXCELP session in person. This is the first face-to-face training session since the pandemic began.
